Here are some thoughts and tips from Steph (the bride from this amazing wedding):

What ended up being your favorite parts of the wedding day?

“The vows and reception!”

What was the biggest surprise on your wedding day?

“Just how smoothly everything went due to our vendors all being in sync.”

What song did you walk down the aisle to? Was there a special reason for choosing this song?

“A cover of Blake Shelton’s God Gave Me You. We aren’t extremely religious, but we are very different people who believe that God gave us each other for the ups and downs that life will have.”

What song played for your first dance? Was there a special reason for choosing this song?

“Brad Paisley’s “Then” has been our song for 10 years! Holds a very special place in our hearts thinking about all the moments you experience with your spouse and then finding out that you love them even more with the time that follows.”

Tell me about some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them.

“Very winter wonderland vibe. Two eleven foot Christmas trees decorated. Florals with accents of evergreen. Sequins for the bridesmaid dresses and table runners. Just warm winter cozy”

How did you feel at the end of the day?

“Amazing! The day went perfectly. We literally could not have asked for a better day surrounded by the people we care most about.”

What advice would you give to couples who are planning their wedding now?

  • “Hire the right people. Make sure they all mesh and get what you want out of the day.
  • Ensure there’s a clear plan and then make sure someone else handles that plan so you can relax as the bride and groom.
  • Go to other weddings and do your research on what you like and dislike and then have realistic expectations for the day!
  • Invite people who you want to spend all night on the dance floor with or who you want to make eye contact with as you exit the ceremony!
  • And If you’re on the fence, buy the larger package or the extra pizazz. You won’t regret it after you see the pictures or videos!”
